Identified by a “T-patch” over the left shoulder of their camouflage Basic Duty Uniforms, Texas Army National Guard soldiers have been highly visible in recent months with their immediate response to the recovery efforts resulting from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

A Texas National Guard soldier is photographed in a helicopter hovering over flooded New Orleans in a special section of Tuesday’s USA Today. Army National Guard chief Lieutenant General H Steven Blum is extremely proud of the citizen soldiers that he leads.

“We are able to do what the nation needs us to do, and whenever we are needed, we are there, with the right skills and the right equipment and the right personnel,” Lt. Gen. Blum is quoted in an article of the Army National Guard’s USA Today section.

Lt. Gen. Blum visited Camp Mabry, headquarters of the Texas Joint Military Forces, in September and commented on the success of the Texas Army National Guard after it reached its end-strength goal for fiscal year 2005. “Texas made its mission this year and that is huge,” Lt. Gen. Blum said when meeting with a reporter.

The Texas Army National Guard and the Army National Guard as a whole are off to a positive start in fiscal year 2006 with both exceeding its recruiting goals in October and November. Lieutenant Colonel Ron McLaurin leads the Texas Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Command.

In addition to hurricane recovery efforts which emphasize domestic service, the Texas Army National Guard is also being called on to support missions overseas. More than 3,000 Texas National Guard soldiers were welcomed home from service in Iraq during a ceremony Saturday at Baylor University’s Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco.

“If there ever was a time where the Army National Guard’s importance was evident, this is it,” Lt. Col. McLaurin said. “Today’s birthday honors our proud past and emphasizes the important road that lies ahead.”

The Insurance Corruption National Healthcare Plan was produced in response to public objection to the government’s various complicated and extremely expensive plans. It’s designed to be voluntary, make a profit, and yet be a low-cost plan which would give immediate benefits. It’s offered as a compromise between what Democrats and Republicans want by Insurance Corruption, an independent group.

Instead of increasing the national deficit, the voluntary Insurance Corruption Plan would produce a profit from several sources:

Premiums and services would be very affordable, on a sliding scale. Healthcare would not be free, to avoid abuse of benefits. No insurance companies would be involved in the Insurance Corruption Plan.

The Plan would be contracted out, instead of becoming another massive and incompetent government bureaucracy, which would eliminate huge bonuses for executives, and taxpayers would not be supporting insurance company abuse, greed, excess, crime, and high-priced lawyers.

The plan includes veterans, which would create enormous savings by eliminating the VA medical program. No money would be spent on advertising.

It’s simplified and would save taxpayers millions to implement and operate. It’s streamlined, as opposed to the government’s numerous and complicated plans, and is designed to be completely separate from all other government programs. It’s designed to help the struggling middle class, although it would be available to everyone.

There have been ongoing complaints that legislators are not listening to public complaints about the numerous plans the government has proposed. For example, there has been a great deal of public anger over forced payments to insurance companies.

The Insurance Corruption website offers powerful and effective ways to remind legislators that they work for the American people and not insurance companies. The Plan would also cut the financial ties between legislators and insurance company executives and refers to www.legalparasites.com.

There is no time limit for implementing the Insurance Corruption Plan, since any decision made by Congress can always be changed. However, the sooner a final decision is made by the American people, the less it will cost taxpayers to implement the healthcare plan. The Insurance Corruption Plan offers to give Republicans reassurance that this would not be more government welfare, and Democrats the freedom from insurance company corruption. The reality is that there will be a healthcare plan, and this could be the best compromise which all Americans would benefit from.

Since 2003, China has adopted the development strategy to develop high parameter and large capacity generating units and to shut down small thermal power generators. Since then, China mainly adopted generating units with a capacity of above 300MW per generator, which are of high parameters, high efficiency and good performance in peak shaving, and built mine pit power plants to transmit electricity to areas with power shortage, aiming at broadening the scope of optimizing allocation of resources.

In the future, the introduction of generating units with a capacity of 300MW (especially above 600MW) per generator will be encouraged by government policies, while generating units with a capacity of below 300MW per generator will be restricted or banned, due to the differences of installed capacity.
