Richmond Hill, GA (PRWEB) April 16, 2006

Internet mouth radio show, Army Wife Talk Radio (AWTR), evolved specifically for army wives, welcomes Kathy Peel “America’s Family Manager”, as seen on Oprah, CBS Early Show, HGTV, and more. AWTR will be kicking back off a four part series for Army wives on “Making The Best of 2006.” The first show is planned to air Jan 9, 2006 via the website and podcast. AWTR will broadcast weekly, with a fresh show each Monday for the remainder of the series accepting experts on topics of weight loss & exercise, goal setting, and setting your best face forward.

The site & show developed by Tara Crooks of Richmond Hill, Georgia has been no stranger to success. Launching April 18, 2005 Army Wife Talk Radio has seen over 500+ listeners per week. “I am overpowered by the amount of support AWTR has had,” says Crooks.

Crooks has been “married to the military” for seven years now. She has a passion for schooling and rendering a sense of community to other army wives. “In this day and age of war and deployments, many wives are gone forth on their personal to be, not only a wife and a mother, but also to go a financial advisor and an expert of lawn maintenance,” Crooks stated. “Becoming a fresh spouse to a soldier, traveling to a fresh installation, or running a household on your own can be, at the least, disagreeable. Many wives are left to their own devices with little or no support,” she went on.

If you would like to be a guest of Army Wife Talk Radio and have a subject matter specific to the Army, contact Tara Crooks using the contact information above. For more information on advertizing with Army Wife Talk Radio visit the website http://www.ArmyWifeTalkRadio.com

Toronto, Canada; Athens, Greece (PRWEB) July 7, 2005

“Should you accept a settlement? Is trading your settlement an acceptable idea? Does it make financial sense to purchase a settlement?” asks Terry Bogris, President of StructuredSettlementResources.com, the first-string source of information on court-ordered coordinated settlements.

“These are all very acceptable questions and their answers are antithetic from case to case”, says Terry. “Whether it be for yourself, your family, or friends, with the amount of law suits and court cases sky-rocketing, it is adjuratory to have access to information regarding coordinated settlements”.

Lately, it has go unexciting for victims of injuries who accept a settlement from the at fault party to accept a coordinated settlement instead of a lump sum payment. With a structured settlement, the wounded party receives payments over a determined period of time rather than having payment up front in a lump sum

There are advantages to this for both parties. The wounded party may necessitate continual medical care and the steady payments of a coordinated settlement guarantee that income will be accessible to spread over the medical expenses. For the paying party, the settlement can be paid by acquiring an annuity, which allows an upfront payment to accrue interest, thereby bringing forth a larger long-term yield from a borderline investment. In many cases, a structured settlement is reckoned as a win-win situation for both parties

There are restrictions on structured settlements that may not suit everyone. Once you agree to accept a coordinated settlement, you can neither trade it back in for a lump sum payment, nor can you use it for collateral for a loan. What if some cash for some out of the blue expense? Well, under sure circumstances, you may be competent to trade your structured settlement to a third party

There are companies that are interested in purchasing structured settlements for investment purposes. They will agree to pay you a lump sum, in cash, in exchange for you subscribing over your future annuity payments to them. Obviously, the party that offers to purchase your annuity is concerned in executing so for investment purposes. They care to make money on the transaction, and for them, that profit will be spread over the abundant time that it takes to have all of the payments that constitute the settlement. The amount you receive will be an amount balanced to the attendant day value of the settlement, minus whatever sum the investors necessitate for their profit on the transaction

At www.StructuredSettlementResources.com, we render you with tons of resources to assist you make a schooled and informed decision. We can also assist you in picking out an attorney/solicitor and/or tax advisor for the transaction.

Scranton, PA (PRWEB) January 8, 2006

Telecommunications contracts can be much like a marriage and as we all know there are good and bad marriages. The fact is, when a business owner or manmager enters into a telecommunications contract with a T1 provider for a reasonalble amount of bandwidth or voice service it is typically a long term contract. Telecommunications contracts for T1′s and T3′s typically range from 1 years to 3 years. Anything longer than a 3 year contract is usually only seen in very large applicatons like OC3 and OC12 or complex frame relay connections with many nodes. While the term of the contract will not be a problem if a company has the right provider, the contract could prove extrememly burdomsome with the wrong provider.

A new breed of online executives are using the tools at newly launched www.amtecdigital.com to show the various options, providers and services available in a their local area. These tools can help reduce the time it takes users to shop around for a T1 provider. Simply fill in the easy to use form and the tool searches through multiple providers to get the service that best suits a particular businesses needs. The site helps users steer clear of the bias often received when speaking with one vendor, as they will be paid no matter which service you choose. Since these sites don’t work with a specific provider like AT&T or Sprint, they will not push a prospective buyer in that direction if the plan is not right for their application.

Remeber that the T1 provider a company selects will be their partner for quite some time so great caution should be taken before making a final decision. The worst part of being with a bad provider is the fact that it will affect business. Dropped calls or an internet connection that goes down can be disastrous to a business. Often larger companies like AT&T and Sprint will release companies from long term contracts it if is shown that the voice or data T1 service was faulty on a regular basis. However, the release from such a contract will not help recoup the damages of the lost calls and e-mails from the poor service.

With more and more companies turining to the internet, it pays to research before buying. With the simple tools found at www.amtecdigital.com, shopping for broadband is now as easy as booking a hotel room or a vacation.

International gang expert Sheriff’s Sergeant Richard Valdemar, who retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after 33 years of battling L.A. notorious gangs, is featured in a Full Disclosure Network® cable TV series tonight, Monday, on L.A. Cable Channel 36 and 43 other cable TV systems.

L.A. Cable Channel 36 on Monday July 23rd as follows free Internet Preview from ULRs below:

4:00 p.m.: Drug Cartels Take Over Local Cities http://www.fulldisclosure.net/Programs/478.php

4:30 p.m.: Political Corruption & Illegal Immigration http://www.fulldisclosure.net/Programs/479-480.php

The entire four-part series with Sgt. Richard Valdemar is being featured on 43 cable systems. Available FREE on the internet, 24/7, on demand, as a public service. Other channels and airtimes can be found on the website at this URL: http://www.fulldisclosure.net/Channels/channelsINDEX.htm

Sgt. Valdemar describes how systematically “Mexican drug cartels have been taking over local city governments in Los Angeles County”. This four-part Full Disclosure Network® cable TV series with Valdemar covers the impact of the Mexican Mafia gangs, drug cartels and illegal aliens that have spread to many cities throughout the United States. Sgt. Valdemar describes his frustration and the reasons why he fled California

Highlights from Valdemar Interview on Drug Cartels:

Valdemar cited the following cities as having been infiltrated by the Mexican drug cartels: Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Hawaiian Gardens, South Gate, Huntington Park., Vernon, Cudahy.
Drug cartels set up phony businesses to launder drug money, usually used car lots, used tire shops that serve as a “front” for their operations.

Valdemar says it all starts when a small business, like a restaurant, is purchased by someone with drug money from Mexico, who sets up shop and starts inviting the city fathers to come for complimentary or discounted meals.
Then invitations are extended to local police and other government officials, until the business operator is well established, with powerful friends.
Drug money is used to send out smear campaign literature to destroy reputations of incumbent city council members and to finance the campaigns of challengers whose goal is to get a majority voting block on the city council.
Once the drug cartel controls the city council, they fire the city attorney, city manager and start giving out contracts, like the trash collection contract, to their cronies.

The Full Disclosure Network® is known as THE NEWS BEHIND THE NEWS and is an independently produced, educational, public affairs cable program hosted by Leslie Dutton. In 2002 the FDN program was presented with a local public affairs Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for their series entitled L.A.’s War Against Terrorism. Previews of the full programs are featured on the website at http://www.fulldisclosure.net/

Morristown, NJ (PRWEB) April 29, 2008

To ensure that all corporate, union and government health plans are able to obtain 100% of generic drug savings, Pharmacy Benefit Consultants has distributed a free internet video, captioned: “How to Ensure Your Health Plan – Not Your PBM – Benefits From Generic Drug Use.” The video identifies the contract terms that are present in almost every PBM/client contract that rob health plans of generic drug savings, and describes the contract changes that must be made to ensure that health plans obtain 100% of generic drug savings. The video can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEcQ35W1NrI.

“Generic Drugs can provide enormous savings to health plans and their covered employees. But currently, it is PBMs – not health plans – that are retaining much of the financial benefits that flow from generic drug use,” says Linda Cahn, President of Pharmacy Benefit Consultants. “For health plans to obtain real generic drug savings, health plans must entirely change their PBM contracts.”

Cahn adds: “PBMs are thrilled when generic drug sales increase, because PBMs reap enormous profits from all such generic drug sales.” PBMs’ generic profits are described in the video, through quotations from PBM’s SEC filings, and through a brief discussion of the difference between PBMs’ costs to purchase generic drugs, and PBMs’ invoiced prices to their clients for generic drugs.   Â

“Unbeknownst to health plans, PBMs are retaining a large portion of the financial savings that health plans should be realizing from generic drug use. PBMs do so by manipulating the ambiguous contract terms they write into virtually all PBM/client contracts,” says Cahn.

“Thus, it’s time for health plans to rewrite their PBM contracts and demand airtight contract terms that will ensure that PBMs pass through 100% of generic drug savings to plans. Only then will health plans be able to obtain dramatically lower prescription coverage costs,” says Cahn.

Cahn urges all plan administrators and trustees to watch the video, gain an understanding of the PBM contract terms that are robbing their plans of generic drug savings, and verify that all such contract terms are present in their own PBM contracts. After doing so, plan administrators should conduct a PBM RFP, and demand entirely different generic drug contract terms.   Â

Cahn also urges health plans to alter their RFP tactics to ensure plans achieve all generic drug savings. An already-released video identifies the fatal flaws made by most health plans and consulting firms in conducting PBM RFPs, and describes how to rectify those flaws. The video – in two parts – can be viewed at: (i) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-4LJeyjR6E and (ii) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpW3u5Tn4PE.

Pharmacy Benefit Consultants has also distributed a free internet video identifying other core contract terms that health plans must change to ensure lower prescription coverage costs. The video — captioned: “How to Obtain an Airtight PBM Contract” — can be found at the firm’s website or at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvnT9hz9k2g.

Pharmacy Benefit Consultants has helped numerous entities dramatically decrease their prescription coverage costs by redrafting their PBM contracts and conducting entirely different PBM RFPs. The consulting firm’s clients include: Fortune 500 and smaller corporations, international and local unions, and business and union consortiums, as well as insurance companies.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 7, 2006

A ten minute Full Disclosure Network™ Internet video reveals that powerful interests and a “lack of courage” on the part of the District Attorney were to blame for preventing prosecutions in the Belmont Learning Center corruption investigation. This is according to Roger Carrick, former Special Legal Counsel to the Los Angeles Unified School District Inspector General. The video is available FREE “On Demand” at URL: http://www.fulldisclosure.net/flash/393-4Carrick.htm as a public service, 24/7.

Roger Carrick, who also served on the District Attorney’s Task Force Investigation of the Belmont Learning Center told Full Disclosure Network™ the following:

“Los Angeles has developed a culture of extreme corruption when it comes to high dollar projects” and the Belmont Learning Center is an example of that.

Carrick refutes the claim made by District Attorney Steve Cooley that his office did not prosecute because his investigators never named names, presented a “draft indictment”, or presented any evidence of a crime.

Carrick, said that Cooley’s statement was a “false statement” and says that he himself named names when he wrote the Inspector General’s Report and that it was generally known in the investigation that a “draft indictment” had been prepared by the District Attorney’s office.

He also describes the intense pressure surrounding the investigation. “We felt a lot of pressure. A number of the companies that were under investigation hired public relations firms…a lot of these large entities did everything they could to create an atmosphere so that it would be difficult for the facts to come out.”

Full Disclosure Network™ has interviewed all the major players involved in the planning, financing, development and investigation of the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Belmont Learning Center since 2003. The school, never completed, has been renamed “Vista Hermosa”. While it has never been occupied and was partially demolished in the winter of 2004-5, the costs have escalated to approximately one half a billion dollars. Reconstruction of the demolished buildings is to begin in March 2006 in concert with remediation of the toxic methane and hydrogen sulfide gases which are present on the site.

Full Disclosure Network’s™ two-part interview with Roger Carrick was originally videotaped in 2004 as a part of a historical series on the LAUSD Belmont project. It has been featured on 43 Cable systems and the Internet at the website http://www.fulldisclosure.net/. Cable channels and airtimes can be found on the website.

In 2002 host Leslie Dutton was presented with a local public affairs Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the series “L.A.’s War Against Terrorism” featuring the Chief of Police Bernard Parks, Police Union Director Lt. Kenneth Hillman and L. A City Councilman Mark Ridley Thomas and L. A. County Sheriff Leroy Baca.
