(PRWEB) November 14, 2006

At www.RefreshArticles.com, cutting-edge PHP scripts are engaged building a content-rich site of quality articles automatically. Already over 2,000 articles have been auto-categorized and auto-added to the site by the super-smart scripts

Neil Shearing, owner of www.RefreshArticles.com announced: “The days of building adynamic web sites are asleep. The days of building sites by hand are dead. The future lies in continually-updated web sites that interweave together both pre-written articles and user-generated content.” He appended, “The future can be seen at the opening up article site, where AI has been reined in and the site is maturing every 30 minutes, automatically!”

Most webmasters still laboriously construct a site one page at a time, even with blase web-editors. They then upload the sites and go forth them, forever, to garner digital dust. The search engines do not favor much web sites, whose content almost never changes

But at RefreshArticles.com the webmaster is almost totally taken away from the site building process. Instead, the site is constructed by “astute” PHP scripts which auto-categorize and auto-add articles to the website

Once the articles are uploaded to a hidden part of the website (by a human), the scripts will automatically assign one or more categories to them and then publish one every 30 minutes to the live website. The action is constantly “bombinating” as more articles are appended, the homepage and sitemaps are frequently informed and visitors have more and more searchable content to scan and bask

The search engines love indexing this continually-expanding site, and their indexing bots crawl all over it. In the first twelve days of November, the site saw 12,623 hits by Googlebot as it fawned the site extensively. Not sorry for a brand fresh site. Neil Shearing says, “Googlebot just goes enthusiastic for this website. When those spider-visited pages are shown in the main Google index, we hope to see a deluge of traffic.”

The only maintenance the website needs is “feeding” it uncategorized articles by the human. The uploads could be as rare as once per month or less. Everything else is executed by the AI scripts

Even visitors have a role to play in the site-building process. Visitors are inquired for their comments utilizing an innovative fresh comments area at the bottom of every article. New comments are appended at the end of the articles, ensuing in informed web pages… which will keep the search engine spiders coming back to re-index the new comments

The site only publishes quality articles purchased from several different services and does not accept user submitted articles which can sometimes be of low quality or even machine generated thereby filling sites with poor content. By utilizing only articles from a few, pick out, paid resources, the quality of the articles at www.RefreshArticles.com is kept at a very eminent level

About RefreshArticles:

This article directory has a collection of high quality articles compiled from paid sources, on a wide variety of topics including health, self-development and business promotion. The articles brush up themselves with the addition of comments submitted by the visitors. You are asked for to visit the site and see this novel experiment in action at www.refresharticles.com

McLean, VA (PRWEB) February 23, 2010

LogiXML, the web-based business intelligence (BI) software pioneer, today announced 143% sales growth in its OEM business for calendar year 2009. The company attributed this significant growth to the appeal of its products and the attractive value proposition it provides to software and SaaS companies who want to embed business intelligence capabilities such as interactive dashboards and reporting, into their product offerings.

“We are very pleased with the growing success of our OEM business and the adoption rate of our next generation products,” commented Brett Jackson, CEO of LogiXML. “To achieve triple-digit growth in 2009, especially given the weak economy, is significant. Our products provide our OEM customers with a faster time to market and a greater ROI. Our goal is to be the de facto standard embeddable BI technology among software and SaaS companies.”

LogiXML was the first to market with web-based business intelligence products, providing customers with interactive dashboard, reporting, and analysis capabilities. Unlike traditional BI products, LogiXML solutions are web- and XML-based, making them easier to embed, integrate, customize and extend, which are key requirements of software and SaaS companies. In addition to the compelling benefits of its products, LogiXML offers a flexible licensing and pricing model aligned to the OEM’s business model. Finally, Logi has a dedicated OEM team, including expert consulting, focused on helping customers succeed with its products.

One of LogiXML’s new OEM customers is Motionsoft, a leading provider of gym membership management software which specializes in providing customer relationship management, facility management, and financial services for the health club industry. With nearly 2,000 clients in the USA, Mexico, Canada and Europe, Motionsoft provides solutions to commercial gyms, hospital- and corporate-based wellness facilities, as well as schools and universities.

“Motionsoft was looking for web-based business intelligence products to allow us to embed interactive dashboards, reporting, and analysis capabilities into our market-leading Conexion offering,” commented Al Noshirvani, Motionsoft’s CEO and co-founder. “LogiXML was able to provide a solution that met both our technical and business needs and their products have allowed us to enhance our competitiveness and better serve our customers.”

London, (PRWEB) September 16, 2009

World-Check, the leading provider of end-to-end risk management services is proud to be associated with the City of London Police (CoLP) Overseas Corruption Assessment Project. World-Check is providing the project team with access to the Country-Check system which is used by organizations worldwide for country profiling and analysis, foreign market expansion assessments, risk scoring model inputs, enhanced due diligence rankings, and senior management and board reporting.

The OCA project aims to create a pool of information on overseas corruption, and the team will produce, in November 2009, an assessment of the extent and nature of corruption overseas. “Drawing on the private insights of four key categories including business in all sectors; the not-for-profit sector; Government; and law enforcement the report will be an independent compilation of insights and experiences, and will be made public so that readers can make practical use of it in their everyday work,” said Detective Superintendent Colin Cowan.

“We are delighted that the City of London Police will be using Country-Check in support of this valuable project”, said Daniel Peak, Chief Executive Officer of World-Check. “Risk is too subjective a concept to be universally defined and varies from country to country, and from one industry to the next. Country-Check’s Political, Financial and Security dimensions enable users to adjust the risk settings to reflect user specific requirements for evaluating risk.

World-Check encourages companies and organisations operating abroad to participate in the project survey which can be accessed on the CoLP website: http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/corporation/consultation/ocap/overseas_corruption_assessment_project.htm

Microsoft Corp. today released the fourth volume of its Microsoft Security Intelligence Report (SIR) at Infosecurity Europe 2008. The report focuses on the second half of 2007 and uses data derived from a range of tools running on approximately 450 million computers worldwide to provide an in-depth, global view of software vulnerabilities, software exploits, malicious software and potentially unwanted software.

The latest SIR shows the fewest number of security vulnerability disclosures across the software industry since the second half of 2005, along with a rise in malicious and potentially unwanted software, which demonstrates a continued use of malware as a tool for targeting computer users for profit.

More specifically, the second half of 2007 showed a decline in new security vulnerability disclosures by 15 percent and a decrease in total vulnerability disclosures by 5 percent for all of 2007. Vulnerabilities are weaknesses in software that allow an attacker to compromise the integrity, availability or confidentiality of that software. The data also reveals a 300 percent increase in the number of trojan downloaders and droppers — malicious code used to install files on users’ systems — illustrating that the malware category continues to grow in popularity among attackers.

The report also shows a 66.7 percent increase in the number of potentially unwanted software detections — programs that may impact user privacy or security by performing actions the person may not want — between July 1 and Dec. 31, with a total of 129.5 million pieces of potentially unwanted software found on users’ systems.

“The SIR provides us with a chance to share with our customers and industry partners what we’re seeing in the threat landscape so we can all help ensure users are better protected and work toward a more trusted Internet,” said Vinny Gullotto, general manager of the Microsoft Malware Protection Center. “This latest volume supports our position that today’s threats continue to be motivated by monetary gain, and it also gives us a solid view of vulnerability and exploit trends.”

The purpose of the SIR is to keep customers informed of the major trends in the threat landscape and provide valuable insights and security guidance designed to help customers make better, more informed decisions with regard to products, technologies and resources. The latest report builds on previously gathered data, but also includes new sections focused on issues of security breach notifications, spam and phishing, Internet safety enforcement, and the storm worm — a highly visible, continually updating and adapting trojan dropper.

Based on these and other key findings from the report, Microsoft recommends all interested parties use the data, insights and guidance contained in the report to better assess and improve their own security practices. Active steps Microsoft recommends include the following:

 — Check for and apply software updates on an ongoing basis, including
updates provided for third-party applications.
— Enable a firewall.
— Install and maintain up-to-date anti-virus and anti-spyware programs
that provide increased protection from malicious and potentially
unwanted software.
