Santa Monica, Calif. (PRWEB) January 11, 2008

Orion Health, a leading provider of clinical workflow and integration technology for the healthcare sector, today announced that Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) has selected Orion Health’s technology solutions as part of their Preferred Solution Agreements.

This agreement establishes Orion Health’s understanding of the requirements for the pan-Canadian electronic health record (EHR) and a commitment to interoperability.

Orion Health’s Concerto Medical Applications Portal™ will be a key component of Infoway’s Interoperable EHR Program that focuses on implementation of solutions that allow clinicians to view and update an integrated patient-centric health record anywhere at any time.

“Having Concerto part of the solutions available to Canadian organizations will allow them to improve and extend their information systems to deliver more benefits to physicians, reduce workloads and improve workflow, and deliver higher quality patient care for less,” Viskovich continues.

Orion Health’s clinical information software meets the information needs of clinical staff and healthcare managers, delivery secure, universal access to healthcare information and helping healthcare providers proactively manage and coordinate patient care across the community and entire country of Canada.

Barrie, ON (PRWEB) October 15, 2003

Gavin Steiner, President of Interprom Computer Technologies was chosen by Microsoft Canada to represent Canadian partners and small businesses at the highly anticipated product launch of “Windows Small Business Server 2003″ at Microsoft’s 2003 “Worldwide Partner Conference” in New Orleans.

Interviews with Steiner by the Canadian media followed the official product launch by Orlando Ayala, Microsoft’s senior vice president of small and mid-market solutions & partner group.

Steiner discussed the unique needs shared by Canadian small business owners, explaining how “Windows Small Business Server 2003” solves many of those issues, allowing businesses to “work more productively, efficiently and profitably.

“It was an honour to be chosen by Microsoft Canada to represent our country, and the product” says Steiner. “I’ve seen the unprecedented commitment they’ve made this year to the small and medium business owner. Microsoft wants to see Canadian businesses succeed, and Small Business Server 2003 is a tool that will make that happen faster, easier and more profitably for any business that uses it”

Spirent Communications plc (LSE: SPT) the leading provider of navigation and positioning test solutions, today announces improved high dynamic capabilities on its new Spirent GSS8000 simulation system.

The Spirent GSS8000 is designed for use in the most demanding applications, and is capable of simulating ultra-high dynamics with industry leading accuracy.

The Spirent GSS8000 supports up to 20,000g signal dynamics, up to 120,000 m/s velocity and 50Hz (4ms) processing rates. Motion data can be generated using Spirent’s on-board vehicle models or using real-time high-rate host vehicle trajectory data over a remote interface. Spirent’s implementation supports full 6 degrees-of-freedom (6DOF) trajectory data. Low-latency hardware-in-the-loop capability is standard with synchronization and timing facilitated via 1 PPS in/out and 10MHz clock inputs.

In addition, the Spirent GSS8000 is designed to support Spirent’s range of options and extensions for testing advanced navigation and positioning systems. These include a range of GPS+inertial test interfaces, classified testing capabilities, interference effects, jamming signals and multi-element adaptive antenna (CRPA) antenna electronics units.

“The Spirent GSS8000 offers our customers the test capability they demand, for both today and tomorrow’s programs,” commented John Pottle, marketing director, Positioning Technology division, Spirent Communications. “We are taking the simulator performance to the next level with the Spirent GSS8000, while maintaining Spirent’s full range of options and classified testing capabilities that our customers have come to rely on, such as classified testing and full test support for future M-code receiver programs.”

Spirent’s products are sold in the US and Canada by Spirent Federal Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spirent Communications. You can learn more about the GSS8000 at their booth at IEEE/ION PLANS 2008 May 5-8, 2008 in Monterey, CA.

Today at Interop, the industry’s leading business technology event, Storage Appliance Corporation introduced the Clickfree Office DVD Backup solution for small, medium and large sized businesses.

This newest addition to the line of Clickfree back up products gives professionals a simple way to save all their critical productivity, email, calendar, Internet and design files. With support for more than 200 file types including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications, Clickfree Office DVD is designed for anyone who wants to protect their most valuable business asset – their daily work information.

As soon as the disc is inserted into a PC’s DVD drive, the Clickfree software automatically launches, searches and backs up files, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator files and more. While the software’s default settings will probably be sufficient for most, it is user-modifiable, giving users full control over their backups.

Available now, Clickfree Office DVD will be demonstrated at Interop 2008 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, April 27 – May 2. Storage Appliance Corporation’s booth is #1984.

“Today, 85 to 90 percent of the population does not back up their PC,” said Ian Collins, president, Storage Appliance Corporation. “We hope the simplicity of our products will influence people to back up their data on a regular basis, significantly reducing the easily preventable devastation that comes from data loss.”

Because the Clickfree Office DVD is so easy to use, it is ideal for employees with limited computer knowledge, making it a perfect solution for small businesses without dedicated IT support. In addition, IT managers supporting non-technical remote workers will find tremendous value in its simplicity. Off-site employees can easily back up their laptops or home computers (that often contain work files) on a regular basis, without requiring IT help or resources. If a computer crashes, they can instantly restore their data themselves by pushing the “restore” button and be back up and running within minutes.

Clickfree Music and Photo DVDs Protect Cherished Digital Media

The new Clickfree Office DVD joins a line of existing back up DVDs offered by Storage Appliance Corporation, including Clickfree Music DVD Backup and Clickfree Photo DVD Backup. A hassle-free way to protect music collections and cherished photos, the DVDs automatically search for and back up music or photo extensions right out of the box. All popular and file formats are supported.

Back Up Your Entire PC with the Clickfree Hard Drive

For customers who want to back up all their data onto a hard drive, Storage Appliance Corporation also offers the 120GB Clickfree HD701. It automatically backs over 350 file types including Word, Powerpoint, emails and their attachments, photos, movies and music files. It even finds preferences, favorite websites and browser lists. At $149, it offers a tremendous value to families and IT managers, as one device can back up data from up to 10 computers, compartmentalizing each PC’s information for easy data identification and recovery.

All Clickfree back up devices are ideal for transferring files to a new computer. In case of hard drive failure or to share files with a new computer, simply click the “restore” button, and all the files will be brought into their original locations again.

The Clickfree Office DVD 5 Pack is available now at leading retail outlets in the U.S. and Canada. The MSRP is $14.99. All Clickfree back up solutions can also be purchased online direct from Storage Appliance Corporation. Visit www.goclickfree.com for more information or to locate a store.
