AMHERST, N.Y. – Acres International, a leading consulting engineering and management services firm with offices in Amherst, New York and Seattle, Washington, has been awarded a contract with the General Services Administration (GSA)
GSA schedules are multiple award contracts that give federal agencies and state and local governments a buying vehicle of pre-approved products and services offered at commercial discounts. Schedule contracts provide vendors of products and services with simplified negotiation and contract procedures and give governmental organizations the benefit of “most favored customer” pricing.
U.S. government entities will no longer have to get competitive bids to purchase Acres InternationalÂ’s services. The GSA contract provides much faster and easier access to our services and advanced software solutions for power plant operations, O & M and asset management. These services are already being used by major North American utilities and the Bonneville Power Administration.
“We are very pleased to receive this contract award from GSA,” said Tony Hylton, President of Acres International. “An increasing number of U.S. government agencies will be using our engineering and management services. This designator will also make it easier for more agencies to apply our unique advanced software solutions.”
Acres International was established in 1924 and today provides a wide range of design, project management, infrastructure operations and management consulting services to the power, transportation, urban and municipal infrastructure, oil and gas, mining, steel, and petrochemical sectors (see our web site at www.acres.com ).
