Fort Myers, Fla. (PRWEB) June 12, 2008
Randy Thomas, a voiceover and radio announcer, continues to break new ground in the voice over world announcing for The 2008 Tony Awards which will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday, June 15, for the eighth time, thus making her the first woman to be able to do so.
But this honor isn’t the only highlight on Thomas’ career, as after the Tonys, she will be in Los Angeles to announce over The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday June 20, 2008, live from the Kodak Theater, in Hollywood, and broadcast on ABC. White Cherry Entertainment is producing both shows.
In the same week, Thomas will be the announcer for the American Film Institute’s 10 Top 10 – America’s 10 Greatest Films in 10 Classic Genres. It will air on Tuesday, June 17, and is a CBS Television event.
But announcing isn’t the only art Thomas is currently working on; she recently co-authored a book entitled, Voice for Hire: Launch and Maintain a Lucrative Career in Voice-Overs with her friend and voice over talent, Peter Rofé. The book will hit bookstores in October 2008.
